A third-party results provider receives the name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form. Our servers do not retain those searches. When you contact us, we use the content of your message only to respond.

How Data Is Used
We use limited data to operate, secure, repair, and improve the site. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.

We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguards and Retention
Encrypted connections protect data in transit, and logs are retained only as long as their stated purpose requires. Because there are no visitor accounts, we hold no site password or member profile for you.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on residence and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data that we maintain. Louisiana Act 502 of 2026 enacted R.S. 51:1780.1 through 1780.5, effective January 1, 2027, for covered controllers, with exclusions that include public agencies and qualifying public government-record information. We will search our contact mailbox and relevant logs when a request reaches the Contact page. Official records remain under the control of the Jefferson Parish or Louisiana custodian that holds them.
